Betsy – Our Blessing Box
As food insecurity has increased Faith Covenant has responded by partnerships in the community.
We offer a very active Blessing Box. The Blessing Box is at the front of our property off Dempsey Road.
WARM
We partner with the Westerville Area Resources Ministry providing Thanksgiving meals and directing those in need to their food pantry, job assistance, and other resources.
Faith Covenant strives to be an active resource for the needs of our Huber Ridge Community. One way we do this is through our partnership with Huber Ridge Elementary School. In the Fall we hold a church wide back to school supplies drive and in the Spring provide a teacher-staff appreciation luncheon at the school. In between months we connect with the school’s Principal when unmet student needs arise.
We do a yearly December drive to provide specific resources and gifts through a local collaboration.
Fort Jackson Re-entry Christian ministry led housing and support.
Annual Community Tree Lighting. A community event held on the first Sunday of December
Each year Faith Covenant hosts an Easter Egg hunt for the children of Huber Ridge and surrounding areas.
Outreach to unhoused members in the Columbus community by putting together and delivering individual bags filled with health & hygiene products, resources and a NT Bible. Click here for more information.
