Sunday Morning Adult Discipleship

Sundays at Faith Covenant, 9:15am in the Fellowship Hall

At Faith Covenant, the centrality of the Word of God is one of our Healthy Missional Markers, as well as one of our Core Values. All our values come from what we discern from the Word of God.

Current Sunday Adult Discipleship Study: Ecclesiastes

This class will begin on July 12, 2026

Have you ever wondered that if, 2 Timothy 3. 16-17 tells us that, "all scripture is God-breathed, and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work", how can Ecclesiastes say that "everything is meaningless"? Or how can a book of the Bible be so negative? You are not alone.

Why not join the rest of us seeking spiritual usefulness in Ecclesiastes this Summer at 9.15a on Sunday mornings in the Fellowship Hall. We will read, study, and discuss the book of Ecclesiastes verse by verse for 8 weeks. By the end, we hope to have a better understanding of why this book was included in the Bible, what God is teaching us through it, and how we should live our lives out under the sun.

Current Study Guides are available in the Welcome Center or by clicking here.

Men's Ministry

Saturday mornings at 9 a.m. in the Welcome Center. This session will start September 12, 2026

Gentlemen,

You are invited to join the IronMen Small Group as we begin our Fall Session. We will be studying the book The Reason for God: Belief in the Age of Skepticism, by Timothy Keller.

From the book jacket: Timothy Keller, the founding pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City, addresses the frequent doubts that skeptics, and even ardent believers, have about religion. Using literature, philosophy, real life conversations, and potent reasoning, Keller explains how the belief in a Christian God is, in fact, a sound and rational one. To true believers he offers a solid platform on which to stand their ground against the backlash to religion created by the Age of Skepticism. And to skeptics, atheists, and agnostics, he provides a challenging argument for pursuing the reason for God.

The books and sign-up sheet are located in the Welcome Center under the TV monitor. The cost of the books are $10, payable to Dave Tomashewski.

If you have any questions, please contact the church office at 614. 865.0791.
