‚ÄčHS SUMMER TRIVIA CHALLENGE & DEVO

Tuesday Nights, 7:00-8:30pm

Every week we have a high school Summer Trivia Challenge where we meet outside the Youth House in a designated space of the parking lot to help keep students socially distant. After the Trivia Challenge we do a short summer devotional to encourage students spiritually.

Each week there are 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Students' points also accumulate throughout the summer for a Grand Prize on the final Trivia Night!

HS SUMMER BIBLE STUDY
Bi-Weekly on Thursday Nights, 6:30-7:30pm
This is for any high school students who want to stay, connected and consistent in reading God's Word throughout the summer to help them continue to grow in their faith. We meet together in a large, spacious circle outside the Youth House for discussion and prayer. In the event of rain, we meet online using Zoom instead.

*For more information about the Bible Study and how to join the group, contact Val (vrogers@faithcov.net).

HIKE OR DISK GOLF

Details to be determined/announced.
A few times throughout the summer we'd love to meet up at a local state park for either a hike or a round of disk golf. This provides us with a fun activity off site from the Youth House, while maintaining our rule of being outdoors and keeping social distance.

BATHING SUIT POLICY

FCC Youth Guiding Principle: "Modesty to the degree you are able."

Our intention through the Youth Program is to be appropriate and respectful in all that we do so to honor God and others with our lives. We do not have a hard line on what type of bathing suits students can wear (ie. two piece vs. one piece), but instead ask that parents and students discuss what they feel is appropriate for the youth event they are attending and keep our Guiding Principle in mind.

If an issue of appropriate covering does come up with a student, a youth leader will privately and respectfully talk to that student and work to resolve the issue.

If you have questions or concerns about our bathing suit policy please contact Val Rogers: vrogers@faithcov.net
